our goal: no more homeless pets!

Every dog and cat accepted at Noah Project will be treated with compassion and dignity. We will make every effort to find adoptive homes. If homes cannot be found, our pets will live safe, happy lives at our shelter where loving volunteers and staff will care for them for as long as they live.

No adoptable dog or cat accepted at our shelter will be euthanized.

Every dog and cat at Noah Project will be spayed or neutered prior to adoption!

Our Mission Statement:

Noah Project is a non profit, no kill animal shelter that is dedicated to provide for the compassionate well-being of rescued, abandoned, abused, unwanted or neglected pets.  Animals in our care are spayed or neutered, receive all veterinary care and are treated with dignity, love and respect as they await to be matched into new relationships within loving forever homes.   Our goal is to educate the community on animal welfare, collaborate with other shelters and ultimately strive for a world where every companion animal has a home to call their own.

adopt a pet

Noah Project, Muskegon’s very first no-kill animal shelter, has played a key role in the rescue and adoption of over 4,000 homeless pets in our community since opening its door in September of 2000.

All cats and dogs at Noah Project are immunized, micro-chipped, fixed, and loved!
